Why is Medical Terminology important in the health care system?
Q. I have to write a 1-2 page paper on why med terms are important and the pro and cons of them in a doctor/patient communication... I have tried looking on the internet and I am not finding much of anything!

A. The following link is for free publications for persons in the trade, but you may be able to sweet talk them and tell them you're a writer The following link is for a trade web site for folks in the field. There is a discussion board, message board, whatever they are calling this these days. It may prove useful. When doing searches, try emt as well as ems. The name differs from state to state, region to region. You can also pick up a police scanner if you want to hear the real action. Hope it helps.
