Asked by xyanthiste_2009 - Wed Mar 4 23:34:37 2009 - - 6 Answers - 0 Comments A. idk= I Don't Know Answered by Pogo Addict - Wed Mar 4 23:39:04 2009 I need help from my tech friends.I want a computer just for home/basic internet access use, what should I get? Q. I just want the computer to use to surf the internet, maybe do some essay/report/paper typing, and other basic functions. I don't expect to be downloading much at all. I'll probably also use it as a portable dvd player at times. I'm going to be goin to graduate school soon so I might use it for homework needs then as well. Any suggestion about what not to get? Or what essential things do I actually need? I don't know the terminology at all and it's all foreign to me. How much memory, etc.? Any information anyone can provide would be very appreciated Asked by jdil84 - Tue Apr 3 00:44:35 2007 - - 3 Answers - 0 Comments A. Not sure if you want a PC or laptop, but you would need: 512MB (1GB if you don't plan on upgrading later) of RAM. At least a 40GB hard-drive. Just for documents and watching movies you wouldn't need a very big one. Obviously a DVD drive (DVD-HD recommended). You wouldn't need a very powerful processor, probably at least 2.0GHZ though. Shouldn't cost over $800 for a laptop and $500 for a PC. Answered by Chris_Knows - Tue Apr 3 00:51:08 2007 Why do people always use 'internet slang' and shortcuts?
Q. Example: people don't always use correct terminology.. Here's some words often used.. Like = lyke, lyk Yes = yea, yh, ys Why = y People = ppl, pls, peeps, pepl And more..but why not spell most words how they're meant to be spelt, I mean..some are the same amount of words! What's the point :) You might think I'm petty or something but..it's just irritating to see thoes deliberate incorrect terms! Example sentence: omg i wuz so brd 2day all i did wuz listn 2 sum muzik! propr bangin chewns!! I just know some of you are going to answer this using slang, haha Asked by Dys* - Mon Sep 11 23:06:48 2006 - - 12 Answers - 0 Comments A. Thank you for bringing that question up!! I hate when people do that!! Some questions are slang and its annoying but at least you can understand what they are trying to say. Others either in response or questions are so bad that you can't understand what their saying at all. I mean its OK if you misspell something or its an obvious mis type. I wish these people would use this forum to improve on their typing skills. If you really tired out by typing a response than you really need some exercise. Relax, just teasing!!!
