Q. its for my films studies class and i've just completely blanked. i was wondering if anybody would be able to tell me things such as aspects which we see in a classic horror that we do not see in a modern horror and vice versa. Asked by Emma B - Sun Jun 28 05:30:02 2009 - - 6 Answers - 0 Comments A. Well, a classic horror movie was intended to scare more than to entertain i guess. The monsters werent too elaborate, and the movies not too high tech, but they kept you up at night. Modern horror movies are MOSTLY about loud noises, excessive nudity, and more action than anything, with a lack of ever really being scared. Okay here is a list of all of my favorite horror movies: Evil Dead (older zombie movie) Jeepers Creepers (only the first one) Darkness Falls Secret Window (great twist ending) Silence of the Lambs and the rest of the hannibal series Stir of Echoes Poltergeist Dawn of the Dead Saw 28 Days Later Dead Alive (old and pretty gory though) The Grudge Riding the Bullet Answered by AllTimeLow - Wed Jul 22 22:49:15 2009 How do you deal with hysteria after watching a horror film?
Q. Yeah I'm one of those people that get very paranoid after watching a horror movie. I can't get the thoughts and images out of my head, and can't help but get scared! Kinda stinks. I'm not watching anymore of these after Friday. Asked by Kristine - Thu Nov 23 06:40:19 2006 - - 5 Answers - 0 Comments A. I know how you feel! I saw Texas Chainsaw Massacre for the first time last week and at 4:30 am yesterday a guy from the city council came by my house blowing leaves with a machine that sounded suspiciously like a chainsaw. I almost died of fright! It's just a movie though, don't let it put ideas in your head. They are just actors. Stay away from them if they are freaking you out. Real life is scarier in the long run than any horror flick. Answered by sticky - Thu Nov 23 07:01:24 2006 From Yahoo Answer Search: "horror" At the Sites of 9/11 Horror , Let Thousands of Roses Bloom
