Books where the romance between the guy and girl is reversed?
Q. Like the guy is the more submissive one in the relationship and the girl is more dominating. It has to be young adult. It doesn't really need to be a romance book, it just needs to have that kind of relationship. Just as note, I know that there are no truly defined roles for males and females when it comes to romantic relationships, but when I say the roles are reversed, I mean the ones you generally see in literature. Especially since Twilight came out. Think of it as the opposite of Edward and Bella's relationship.

A. I guess in the Mortal Instruments series Clary has this relationship with Jace, you know--even though it's much more complicated, but if you haven't read it--definitely check it out...like now. It's verrry good/hilarious/sexy/spook y. Um...also try Just Listen as well, by Sarah Desen. And I think in Forever by Judy Blume, the couple has a relationship like this too.

How to start a Romance Novel and how many pages to a chapter?
Q. I am currently in the mist of putting together my very first romance novel and found myself in a bit of a pickle...I am always writing and to check out some of my poems go to Urbis). The only thing I have found hard about writing it the flow of the story and how to begin a story such as this one. Also how many pages to each chapter? I have been trying to write roughly ten pages to a chapter, but unsure if this is too short or too long... Any help would be great.

A. Don't ask so many questions and just write. Let your creativity determine length and breadth of your writing. Allow yourself to go into the writer's "zone" and your instincts will know when the chapter is over. Begin where your imagination starts and begin writing. Remember, you always have the ability to edit. So, don't worry if your first few sentences might ulimately be discarded. If you worry about this, then you will stumble through the first chapter. Free yourself of this worry, and you will be in a "zone" and when you re-read it will sound so much better. Best advice: just write.

What are some Fiction books that have romance involving soldiers?
Q. Ever since I started dating a marine, I've been all about the military. But as for reading goes, I can only read romance. I've already read Dear John and The Lucky One and I absolutely loved those. Any other suggestions?
